{"id":4284,"date":"2022-08-03T11:39:50","date_gmt":"2022-08-03T18:39:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.doublecointires.com\/construction-hiring-cash-flow-increase\/"},"modified":"2022-12-19T07:51:27","modified_gmt":"2022-12-19T15:51:27","slug":"construction-hiring-cash-flow-increase","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.doublecointires.com\/es\/construction-hiring-cash-flow-increase\/","title":{"rendered":"Construction Hiring &#038; Cash Flow on the Rise!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: black; background-color: white;\">New data from Trimble Viewpoint\u2019s Quarterly Construction Metrics Index shows increases in construction hiring and cash flow \u2013 positive signs indeed!<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <!--more--> <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: black; background-color: white;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: black;\">As reported by Equipment Today magazine, s<\/span><span style=\"color: black;\">ome indicators in 1Q 2022, gleaned from surveys of 1,000 construction companies, were down when compared year-over-year, including new projects and contract values. <\/span><span style=\"color: black;\">Others, however, like hiring and cash flow saw increases, demonstrating that contractors are gearing up to launch new projects, likely in connection with the recently passed $1.2 trillion Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: black;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Net hiring increased 16% compared to Q4 and 3% compared to Q1 2021<\/span>. Even modest hiring gains are worthy of celebration. Contractors appear to be ramping up their workforces to help them prepare for larger projects down the road.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: black;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Cash flow increased 25% compared to Q4 and increased 28% compared to Q1 2022.<\/span> Well before the pandemic, many contractors were squirreling money away into their rainy day funds to weather potential storms ahead.
