It is truly \u00abour nation&#8217;s lifeline,\u00bb and CMA\/Double Coin is honored to be part of it!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We couldn&#8217;t agree more with ATA Chief Economist Bob Costello who said,&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cWe knew that the pandemic had a significant impact on our industry, but this year\u2019s <em>Trends<\/em> shows that despite those challenges, the trucking industry remained our nation\u2019s lifeline \u2013 delivering the life-saving and life-sustaining essentials our country needed in a time of great need.\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Among the findings in the ATA annual report:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Trucking employed 7.65 million people in industry-related jobs, including 3.36 million professional truck drivers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Women made up 7.8% of the nation\u2019s drivers \u2013 an all-time high \u2013 and minorities account for 42.3% of truck drivers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Trucking remains a small business industry: 91.5% of fleets operate six or fewer trucks, and 97.4% operate less than 20.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Double Coin TBR tires are performing an increasingly important role in the industry.
