Aggregates Are Up! We Have Your Tires

An estimated 694 million metric tons (Mt) of total construction aggregates was produced and shipped for consumption in the United States in the second quarter of 2021, an increase of 7% compared with that of the second quarter of 2020. 

According to Rock Products magazine, the five leading states, in descending order of production for consumption, were Texas, California, Missouri, Florida and Pennsylvania. Their combined total production for consumption in the second quarter of 2021 increased by 5% to 200 Mt and represented 29% of the U.S. total. 

September Program

The coronavirus pandemic negatively impacted the tire industry in the US, but we are seeing a steady recovery this year. With plans for increased infrastructure spending by the US government in the coming years, we are doing our part with this program to meet the growing demand for OTR and IND tires by competitively pricing them and making inline adjustments with our tires currently available in the market.

We hope this program strengthens our large dealer network and helps our dealers grow their businesses, as well as helps aggregates, construction and mining companies lower their tire operating costs.

REM-3 for Skid Steers

The Double Coin REM-3 OTR features a special uni-directional tread design for maximum traction in OTR skid loader applications. Its radial design offers optimum performance and increased tire life, as well as an enhanced ride and handling. The REM-3 is available in 10R16.5 and 12R16.5.

REM-8 for Mobile Cranes

The REM-8 high-speed crane OTR tire is U.S. DOT approved for on-highway use. The OEM Certified REM-8 is designed with a universal tread pattern to help minimize fuel consumption, improve traction and deliver a more comfortable ride.
