Thousands of Roads & Bridges to Fix!

Now that the infrastructure bill has passed, what’s next? It doesn’t include any signature projects like the national highway system from the New Deal, but there is much work to be done to address 173,000 miles of the nation’s highways and major roads that are in poor condition. The new infrastructure law also aims to help bring the 45,000 bridges which are also structurally deficient up to grade. 

We look forward to seeing Double Coin OTR tires like the REM-2 radial (E-3, L-3) for loaders and the REM-1 (G-2) radial for graders at work on the nation’s roads and bridges.

Double Coin has a good supply of OTR radial tires, with more coming in all the time from our highly-advanced commercial tire (OTR, TBR & IND) plant in Thailand.

Despite all the work that has to be done, having tires for your heavy equipment cannot be taken for granted these days, with the global shipping constraints the industry is facing. Many of our competitors are running low on OTR tires, if they have them at all!

REM-10 (E-3, L-3) for articulated haul trucks — This OEM Certified OTR tire features a multi-function, non-directional tread design for optimum performance. Designed for the rugged needs of articulating trucks, the REM-10 OTR is built with a unique center block tread design, that delivers superior off-the-road traction, and a smooth ride in all types of terrain.
