Love’s Travel Stops, which carries a full line of Double Coin commercial truck tires, has opened seven Travel Stops in recent weeks in seven states with Speedco tire and mechanical services on site, including tire, lube and light mechanical services on a 24/7 basis.

Tire Business magazine got it right — For 2021, tire price increases joined death and taxes as things one couldn’t avoid! Unfortunately, 2022 (at least the first half) looks like more of the same.

Good news for Double Coin customers who travel Southern highways. Love’s Travel Stops has added Speedco truck services at three of its travel stops in Florida, Louisiana and Tennessee.

Love’s Travel Stops, which carries Double Coin tires, has replaced a retread plant and distribution center in Texas with a twice larger, 200,000-square-foot facility in El Reno, OK.

Freight rates on the open market have gone crazy!  The ports are all swamped and container ships are anchored offshore waiting to drop inbound containers. The good news is . . . CMA/Double Coin is better positioned than most tire manufacturers to keep our TBR and OTR customers supplied.

Analysts are mixed on the 2021 trucking freight outlook, but agree that constraints exist, including tire supply. We’re doing our part at CMA/Double Coin; our new highly advanced plant is producing 4,000 TBR and OTR tire units each day!

Driver shortages . . . it’s a huge topic of discussion at every trucking conference, including the recent CCJ Spring Symposium held in Birmingham which was co-sponsored by Double Coin Tires.
